The Fusion Foundation for Children was c
reated by Todd Noall, founder of Fusion, a Salt Lake City-based Integrated Marketing Firm. It has been a long-time goal of ours to help less fortunate children. It is our belief that the is foundation will truly make a difference in the lives, and well-being of local children. The Fusion Foundation for Children is a charitable organization committed to bringing happiness , and hope to less-fortunate children. This foundation is a work in progress. GRANT GUIDELINES
The Fusion Foundation will consider requests from charitable organizations that meet the following criteria:

  • Donations made to a charity must benefit and have a direct impact on children in need.
  • Donations made to a charity must not be used for administrative or support functions.

Although the Fusion Foundation considers every application to be worthwhile, it has a specific mission in mind, to make a difference in a child’s life. The Fusion Foundation will give every consideration to each application received but reserves the right to earmark funding for specific budgetary items and declines funding for budgetary items which are not consistent with its grant guidelines.

The Fusion Foundation does not make grants for the following:

  • Administrative Costs
  • Research Grants
  • Capital Campaigns (unless completed and available for use by children within twelve
  • months of funding)
  • Special Events


HOW TO APPLY
The Fusion Foundation will fund as many projects as its annual resources allow. Applications are accepted throughout the calendar year. All applications will be reviewed and a determination will be made no later than April 30 of the following year. To be considered for a contribution from the Fusion Foundation, an organization must be certified as tax-exempt public charity under Section 501I (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All applications must be in writing and should not exceed five pages. Any materials submitted with proposals will be retained by the Fusion Foundation. Included in the proposal should be the following:

  • A brief description of the organization’s purpose, objectives and programs plus a detailed description of the project and the amount of support being requested.
  • Please include the number of children impacted by the project and any relevant deadlines.
  • Starting date for the project
  • A copy of the Internal Revenue Service 501I (3) determination letter designating the organization as a non-profit, tax exempt public charity.
  • A list of the current Board of Directors and each director’s business affiliation.
  • A copy of the current year’s operating budget and a line item budget for the project.
  • An annual report or financial statement (if available).

NOTE: The Fusion Foundation requires the selected charity to report on the status of the project every six months in the form of a letter
