
POSITION: SOCIAL MARKETING STRATEGIST

DESCRIPTION:
Given the radical shift of consumer behavior, social media now plays a critical role in overall brand strategy. Fusion is looking for a Social Marketing Strategist to partner with top Fusion clients in the Salt Lake City, Columbus, Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Boise and Idaho Falls markets.
This strategist will navigate and excel in social marketing through strategy development, innovative online messaging (blogging), social media content management, vodcasts/podcasts, flawless execution and thoughtful measurement. Other tasks may include basic accounting/data entry, the auditing of vendor invoices and assisting in traditional (TV, radio, etc) and digital (internet radio, banner ads, etc) media placement.
This talented individual will be responsible for leading the strategic vision focused on online communities that helps brands establish the right messaging, creative and social architecture to foster emotional ties with consumers.
REQUIREMENTS:
*3+ years of social marketing experience.
*Marketing and media experience working in strategic planning, public relations, and/or media communications focusing on delivering social (and/or digital) strategy.
*Great story teller/writer, with a proven history of being able to communicate effectively through blogging and social media.
*Competent at the Trapeze (or any circus-like skills).
*The ability to overcome a brand/business challenge through the development of social media architecture that weaves seamlessly into the consumer online (and offline) brand experience.
*Success in developing big ideas that forge strong emotional connections between brand and consumers.
*A demonstrated passion for social media, blogging, digital technology and a firm knowledge of how to leverage it to achieve marketing goals.
*You dream in digital.
*Innate curiosity, aptitude and hands-on approach. You understand and search out better understanding of what makes things go (from marketing, brands, advertising, communications, culture, economy, people, etc) to find core customer insights that take complex business challenges and turn them into simple solutions that drive overall brand engagement.
*Passion for delivering strategic solutions as well as rolling up your sleeves and bringing those ideas to life.
*Chuck Norris trivia buff, a plus.
*Proficient at common Mac applications such as Pages, Numbers and Keynote.
*Proficient at common PC programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*Demonstrated ability to build relationships (internally and with clients).
