POSITION:            BRAND STRATEGIST

OFFICE:                SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

DESCRIPTION:
Fusion is looking to fill the "Brand Strategist" position.  Brand Strategist will prospect for new clients and develop clients' marketing strategies across traditional media like TV; radio; print and outdoor and through digital strategies like web design, optimization and marketing; mobile; email; social marketing and emerging media.

This position is responsible for prospecting for and then leading the Fusion relationship with several clients and will be responsible for building and managing marketing campaigns, effectively executing campaign development and management, and ultimately driving the return on investment for clients.

Fusion is looking for that unique individual that combines classic account/strategic planning, with overall communications planning along with digital media expertise who can leverage our unique marketing process, tools, creative, technology, expertise and customer insights to establish brand platforms that drive innovative solutions for our clients' business challenges, and become the centralized communication messaging across all media.

Our Brand Strategists are responsible for leading client's overall strategic vision, working across creative, media and emerging media to establish a brand road map that integrates both traditional media and digital/emerging media, through all customer touch points.



REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate should have some, if not all of these talents/attributes:

*2+ years of outside sales experience.  Advertising sales experience a plus, preferably in an agency.

*Excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail (ability to plan and anticipate challenges, manage resources, bring cross functional teams together, and maintain budgets).

*Laughs in the face of danger, stress and adversity.

*Demonstrated track record of client relationship building, oozing confidence and providing exceptional account management support (strategy and execution).

*Demonstrated analytical ability (success in mining data from research and uncovering insights that lead to business building recommendations).

*Excellent communications skills, proficiency in leading meetings and delivering effective presentations.

*Proficient juggler (or any circus-like skills).

*Passion for excellence, digital marketing, and overall intellectual curiosity.

*Dig sales like a fat kid digs dessert (we'll teach you all you need to know about advertising and  marketing, but you have to LOVE to sell).

*Proficient in common PC applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

*Proficient in common Mac applications such as Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

*Proficiency in design applications such InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, a plus.

*BA/BS in Marketing or related field.

*Self-starter, motivated and enjoys commission-based compensation.

*Ability to be an advertising sales "Rock Star", less the attitude and that whole snorting coke off Vegas hookers, thing.

*Knack for singing the U of U fight song, a plus.
